a little introduction

Hi. I'm Maddison Burton but you can call me Maddi. I've never really had a desire to start a blog and was content with my daily blog stalking. But for posterity's sake and for friends and family to keep in touch I decided to give it a whirl. 

I'll tell you our story (even though your probably already know it) 

Eric and I met at a multi-singles ward talent show in May of 2012. I was on a blind date with someone else and he was there representing his ward with his talent of singing and playing his guitar. We didn't actually talk that night but we did make eye contact if that counts. Eric found out if I was single, got my number from a mutual friend, and asked me on a date. 

We dated throughout the summer....

In the fall he started school at Utah State University and I was still at Dixie State. And we all know that absence makes the heart grow fonder. 

We were engaged by September...

and married on November 17th. 

We are currently living in Logan, Utah (or as Eric likes to call it "Utah's Alaska") until Eric finishes school. I've never been so cold in my life. But it's a fun adventure and I'm excited to share bits and pieces of it on this blog!
