Eric and I attend a young married couples ward and this past weekend we had the chance to go to the Bear Lake cabin retreat. Our bishop and his construction company built a gorgeous cabin by Bear Lake that he lets the ward members stay at twice a year. We thought it would be a good opportunity to get to know the other couples and our bishop and his wife a little bit better. We didn't stay over night like a lot of people did but we stayed long enough to eat yummy treats, play some games, and laugh our heads off (Catch Phrase has never been so hilarious).
I wish I would have taken more pictures like one of the amazing wood bears our bishop carves with a chainsaw, but the only ones I got were of me and Eric trying to look decent/slightly cheesy. It only took 5 tries. Beware of some awful but intentional faces.
