our weekend

Thursday: Valentines Day of course and thanks to Pinterest I made Eric some inexpensive but very cute (if i do say so myself) valentines.

When I got home from running errands (I had to search high and low for that Sobe) I found flowers and a personalized sugar cookie that Eric had brought me back from work. Since we are very limited on certain supplies a coke bottle that fit one flower was the best we could do for a vase. He also surprised me with an adorable dress and necklaces that he picked out all by himself! He's definitely a keeper!

Eric is a really good cook so we decided to stay home for dinner rather than try and fight the crowds. He made me steak and mashed potatoes. One of my very favorites. 

Friday: We headed down to St. George to visit our families and celebrate Eric's Birthday. I had to take a picture of the sunset because I felt like I hadn't seen one since I moved to Logan. Too much snow and fog. 

 Saturday: We celebrated Eric's Birthday. The old man turned 24! We spent the day enjoying the sunshine, playing with our nieces and nephews and eating Eric's favorite lasagna. The nice ladies he works with made him a basketball cake so we brought it down to share with everyone. I also took a much needed trip to Target with my mom. Logan doesn't have a Target so wandering around with my mom like old times was good for my sanity. 

Sunday: My friend Hayley Dalton who I've known since birth came home from her mission so we went to her homecoming. She served in Barcelona Spain and she had so many great missionary stories. I should have taken a picture with her so you could see how adorable she is (and how we look like sisters). Of course a St. George trip wouldn't be the same without a visit with the one and only Alex Hoskins. Isn't she a beauty?
